John Boden founded Market Contractors, LTD. January 1, 1978.  The original market focus was the grocery industry providing major remodel, fixturing and maintenance services in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Market Contractors, LTD is an Employee-owned company.

Our continuing growth has been achieved through the operation of a Regional office in Portland and satellite locations in Seattle, Phoenix, Denver, and Sacramento.  Effectively we have spread our base of operations so that we provide construction services in thirteen western states. Our products and services have expanded to include casework and millwork. Our client mix includes the following industries: banking / financial; medical / dental; retail; grocery, and restaurants.

We have continued to base our growth on the contributions of our Employee-owners, a wide diversity of trade disciplines and expertise, and our larger geographical market focus.
