Construction Project Assistant
Market Contractors is looking for a confident and organized candidate to assist project managers with several construction projects and programs. These programs are faced paced and a candidate will be helping to keep the project organized and moving smoothly. The project assistant needs to have great organizational skills and be confident communicating and directing others during stressful situations.


•  Assists Project Manager with writing contracts, purchase orders, contract exhibits and change orders
•  Preparing checks and documents to allow job “start-up” package to be sent to field
•  Arranges for printing and distribution of construction documents
•  Provides project specific documents for the Superintendent Binders
•  Ordering Debris boxes, containers, trailer, fencing and portable toilets orders and removals
•  Preparing client call agendas, join calls and distributing call notes after
•  Participates in bid reminder calling process
•  Assists with follow-up on warranty calls
•  Assists Project Manager with posting project information to on-line sites (Building Connected) for bidding, responding to subcontractor information requests
•  Collecting paperwork from subcontractors and compiling closeout to submit to client at the end of the project


•  Ability to manage project duties accurately while adhering to project deadline
•  Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
•  Excellent attendance and punctuality
•  Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), for updating existing spreadsheets and tracking reports
•  Strong problem solving and issue resolution skills
•  Proactive and excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
•  Previous construction experience a plus, but not a requirement
